Q. Where are you located?
A. Bloomington, MN (outside of Minneapolis by 15 minutes)
Q. Where do our "in studio" sessions take place?
A. At my in home studio! I love that everyone is more relaxed and at ease in a home rather than in a commercial space.
Q. Are you a full service studio?
A. Yes I am! I offer my clients pre-consultations to get to know one another as well as wardrobe planning and viewing sessions to order their products. Start to finish, I have my clients want and needs in mind to make sure they get the most out of their session!
Q. Didn't you used to be a wedding photographer?
A. I did! Thanks for noticing! My business, just like myself, is always evolving and as my life chapters took me into motherhood, so did what I capture from behind the camera. Even though I no longer do wedding photography, I've used all the education and training I've had over the years to apply the same talent and love to photographing your legacy.
Q. How long have you been a photographer?
A. "Officially" 7 years. "Unofficially" since I used my allowance at sam's club to make prints from my film camera when I was 10 years old.
My maternity sessions include full hair and makeup as well as wardrobe for my mama's to be! Maternity sessions take place both in studio and on location, mixing lighting techniques with the outdoors and close to nature make maternity sessions enjoyable and exciting! Mama's usually book their session in their first or second trimester!
Birth stories are one of my absolute favorite offerings. Being present to witness and photograph the first breathes of life your child takes leaves me teary eyed and inspired every single time. Being able to look back on the birth of your child for a lifetime is absolutely priceless.
Give me all the babies to hold and cuddle and pose. I specialize in both newborn, birth and maternity with the majority of my work being with newborns. I absolutely love photographing your newborn baby at their tiniest stage in life. Everyone says it, but no one realizes, how quickly they change. Make sure to capture their newness before it's gone.
